Sheila represented the Claimant in this case at both tribunal and the Employment Appeal Tribunal. Her legal arguments in relation to the definition of grievances were endorsed, and this  became a reported case and one of the leading legal authorities on grievance procedures when it was first determined. The law was subsequently changed so that it is no longer the leading authority on grievance procedures, but it was nevertheless an important decision that remains in many practitioner texts.
